Terms and Conditions

We recommend that you take the time to read through our terms and conditions as these are here to ensure a pleasant and stress-free stay with us.

 

Before we start

Just to be clear, here are the definitions of some of the things we say in our terms and conditions:

 

guest’, ‘you’, and ‘your’ - the lead guest who makes the booking;

we’, ‘us’, ‘our’, or ‘Seascapes Haven’ - Seascapes Haven;

we both’ - both Seascapes Haven and you;

party’ or 'parties' - those persons named on the booking confirmation and any person added later;

agreement’ - the contract between us based on: (i) these terms and conditions; (ii) your booking confirmation and the payment of deposit; (iii) any conditions we refer to on our website; and (iv) anything else we agree in writing.

 

1. APPLICATION OF TERMS

1.1 The guest’s confirmation of a booking signifies acceptance of these terms.

 

2. BOOKING CONDITIONS

2.1 Bookings are only accepted from guests who are 18 years of age or older.

2.2 The caravan is strictly reserved for the guest and party included in the initial booking, and over-occupancy is not permitted under any circumstances.

2.3 For holidays booked to commence within the next four weeks, full payment is required at the time of booking, along with a returnable bond of £100. The returnable bond will be returned after the accommodation has been inspected.

2.4 For bookings made more than four weeks in advance, we can accept a deposit of £50 at the time of booking and arrange a final payment schedule with you.

2.5 Please note that failure to maintain payment schedules may result in the cancellation of your booking, and in such cases, no refund will be provided.

2.6 The guest is accountable for the behavior of all individuals included in the booking.

2.7 The guest agrees that all individuals listed on the booking form will accompany them during the hire period of the holiday caravan. The booking form is essential for the safety and security of you and your party.

2.8 The guest must notify us in writing of any changes to the individuals listed on the booking as soon as possible and, in any case, before arriving at the holiday park.

2.9 The guest must provide access to the holiday caravan to the us, holiday park owners, and their staff or agents whenever required.

2.10 We reserve the right to refuse any booking without obligation and may terminate any booking at our sole discretion for any reason.

 

3. PLAY PASSES

3.1 Private letting guests at Haven can easily purchase Play Passes by visiting haven.com/play-pass. Once you have acquired your Play Passes, you can proceed to make bookings at haven.com/experience. Bookings for activities and restaurant tables can be made up to 12 weeks in advance of your arrival, while swimming sessions can be reserved up to 4 weeks before your stay.

3.2 Please note that Play Passes are subject to availability and are non-refundable. Haven manages the Play Passes, and prices are subject to change. For the most accurate and up-to-date prices, we recommend checking the Haven website.

3.3 Child passes are applicable for children aged 4-15 years old; children under 4 do not require a pass.

 

4. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

4.1 Caravans are usually available for check-in at 3pm local time on the day of arrival.

4.2 Check-out time is at 10am local time.

4.3 Please be advised that towels are provided but are cleaned by a third party service. Guests may bring their own towels or opt to rent them from Reception for a nominal fee and deposit.

 

5. CANCELLATIONS AND AMENDMENTS

5.1 If you wish to cancel your booking, please contact us promptly via email at seascapeshaven@gmail.com. A full refund will be provided if the cancellation is made within 14 days of paying the deposit, except for bookings made within four weeks of the stay.

5.2 After the initial 14-day period, a loss of deposit will be incurred upon cancellation. While we will make every effort to transfer your deposit to a later date, this may not always be feasible, resulting in a loss of deposit.

5.3 Full payment is required four weeks prior to the booking date. If cancellation occurs within four weeks of the booking, 50% of the booking cost will be refunded. Cancellations made within seven days of the booking will result in the full cost being forfeited. 

5.4 The guest acknowledges that neither Seascapes Haven, nor the site accept any liability for any loss or damage suffered by or caused to the guest due to the relocation of the guest.

 

6. PAYMENT TERMS

6.1 A deposit of £50 will be taken at the time of booking, which will also serve as your security deposit.

6.2 Bookings are considered confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit. Once the deposit is received, you will be issued an invoice with the final payment date.

6.3 A loss of the £100 returnable bond will be incurred in the event of any damage or missing items within the Caravan. Additionally, any signs of smoking/vaping within the Caravan will also result in a loss of deposit.

 

7. VEHICLES & INJURY

7.1 Please be advised that all vehicles parked at the Caravan are done so entirely at your own risk. We hold no liability for any damage caused to the vehicle or loss/damage of any articles left within.

7.2 We will not be held liable for any injuries sustained by you, your party, or dependents. 

7.3 We, the holiday park owners, and their staff do not accept liability for any loss or damage to the guest, or their parties property, or for any accidents, injuries, illness, or diseases that may arise from the hire of the caravan or use of the holiday park, including those caused by acts of God or extreme weather conditions.

 

8. OCCUPANCY

8.1 The accommodation is intended solely for the individuals listed on the booking form. Exceeding the maximum occupancy will void any insurance coverage. The guest is responsible for all occupants. Failure to adhere to occupancy limits may result in eviction by us or the park manager, with any associated charges billed to the guest. Additionally, guests may be asked to provide car registration information and personal details directly to the park at least 48 hours before arrival. Please note that bookings from young singles, all-female or all-male groups, and individuals under 21 years of age cannot be accepted.

8.2 Pets are strictly prohibited and any violation will result in a change of £75 from the returnable bond being retained for deep cleaning and refused future uses of the holiday home.

9. DAMAGES AND ISSUES

9.1 If you are dissatisfied with the holiday home or find any damaged, broken, or unclean items upon arrival, please report these issues on your first day. This ensures that you are not held responsible for any problems discovered after departure. We must be given the opportunity to address any reported issues within 24 hours. If you are not satisfied with the resolution and decide to end your stay, this must be done within 24 hours of arrival, and no refund will be provided.

9.2 If a maintenance issue arises, the guest must contact the park reception and Seascapes Haven. DIY, or any repairs are not permitted. If the guest attempts any DIY repairs, the £100 returnable bond will be forfeited to fix the damage. 

 

10. UTILITIES AND CALL OUTS 

10.1 Gas, electricity, and water are included in the holiday cost, but a fair usage policy applies. Please note that charging your car directly from the caravan is considered excessive usage.

10.2 If the gas bottles run out during your stay please contact the park reception immediately, or contact Seascapes Haven. We must be given the opportunity to replace or have confirmation that one will be replaced within 6 hours of the issue being reported to us. This does not result in any refund.

10.3 If you lose power or water during your stay, please contact the park reception immediately, or contact Seascapes Haven. This does not result in any refund.

 

11 DEPARTURE

11.1 When departing the holiday home, it is essential to leave it in a clean and tidy state. This includes ensuring that carpets and floors are cleaned, surfaces are wiped down, and kitchenware is cleaned. All litter should be disposed of in the bins provided near the accommodation, and the surrounding area should be kept clean and tidy throughout your stay and upon departure.

11.2 Please remember to store any outdoor seating/table cushions and parasols inside the holiday home after use. If applicable, outdoor table covers should be used to protect outdoor furniture. It is important to adhere to the park rules, so please seek guidance from the park upon arrival. Additionally, please refrain from barbecuing on the decking or veranda.

11.3 Failure to adhere to 11.1 and 11.2 could result in the loss of part or the full amount of the £100 returnable bond.

 

12. LIABILITY

12.1 Seascapes Haven is not liable for any personal injuries sustained within the caravan due to the client's own fault. We also do not accept responsibility for the client's personal property, or that of their party.

12.2 The guest is accountable for any damage caused to the caravan, furnishings, utensils, fixtures, fittings, and equipment by themselves or their party.

12.3 The guest must reimburse us for any necessary repairs or replacements.

It is recommended that the guest ensure their valuables are covered by their own insurance policy.

12.4 In the event of any loss or damage to the property, clients must promptly report it via email to seascapeshaven@gmail.com. The guest or the party may also be required to assist with any police reports filed by Seascapes Haven.

12.5 The guest is responsible for reimbursing us for any required repairs or replacements through deductions from the returnable bond.

 

13. THIRD PARTY LIABILITY

13.1 Seascapes Haven does not accept any liability for services provided by third parties to the guest, or their party, even if Seascapes Haven arranged for those services.

13.2 Any claims, demands, charges, suits, or damages incurred by the guest or their party (or anyone claiming on their behalf) must be addressed directly with the third parties. Seascapes Haven will provide all necessary assistance in this process.

 

14. HAVEN HOLIDAYS

14.1 Seascapes Haven owns the right to the holiday home Primrose Field 81 but does not own the park site or Haven Holidays.

14.2 We both have to follow the rules that are set out in the Terms and Conditions by Haven Holidays and therefore, the guest and their party could be rejected for the park with immediate effect if they’re seen not following Haven’s rules. 

14.3 If the holiday park owners or their staff request that you vacate the caravan or holiday park for any reason, the caravan owners will not issue a refund for any payments made.
